Hi,
Can you please explain why should we upgrade from Sales Cart Pro 5.0 to Sales Cart Net? The upgrade price is not that affordable. I’ve checked the demo and I don’t see anything different from what we have now. What is wrong with Pro 5 and why is Net better? Thank you. Jason |

The upgrade price is not directly comparable. SalesCart PRO shipped at $399.99 just for the base software. SalesCart NET ships with all the plugins including the Transaction processing plugin.
There are a lot of differences...too many to list here. The biggest difference is ASP is a dead language at this point. It has documented memory leaks and security issues associated with it. If you use FrontPage, that is also obsolete. SalesCart NET will shortly be released on Microsoft Expression. If you want support both for FrontPage and Expression, you better buy SalesCart Net now. Once the new version of SalesCart is released, it will not support FrontPage. If however, you purchase the frontpage version now, you would get the Expression version for free. Virtually all new products will come out on the NET platform. So its the place to be or you will eventually be stranded and looking at a lot of work to get caught up. |
