These e-mails do not get sent, but when I try to send an order through the 'registry' or 'send to friend' page they work. This makes me believe things seem to be setup correctly. Any suggestions?

(( Just installed SQL v5 over SalesCart Pro v3 and e-mails were working before ugprade. ))

Thanks

Intersting :) Well, does your host support the CDO/CDONTS of CDOSYS objects? Maybe you used one of the email plug-ins and don't recall?

I run my own hosting servers (windows 2000, IIS5.0, etc). I didn't use any sort of e-mail plug in.

Again, e-mail works for customer password, registry, e-mail to friend...just no customer or merchant e-mails.

EDIT: This happened when I originally setup my shopping cart and don't remember what I didn. I though it had something to do with having the same e-mail for the FROM and TO place holders and my mail server not wanting to send it. But I don't recall what I did to fix it (maybe edit sendmail.asp & merch-conf.asp with differnt e-mail address in place of mymail variable??????)

mymail = what you enter as the merchant email address in the global or salescart.asa

Make sure that receipt2.asp has the include for mer-conf.asp and sendemail.asp.
