I've seen this happen in some cases and they is no rhym or reason for it. Submit a support ticket and I'll send you a couple of files that may actually resolve this issue.

Hello,
Is anyone from Sales Cart monitoring this chat room..? no response in a while, and as far as I can tell we have a bug in the code causing this problem. (Customers are not happy with the lack of response from me on this problem)... Jim |

Will,
I have confirmed that we can duplicate the problem.. we placed a few more orders, and in one case (same order each time) the subtotal field in the database did not get updated.. we received emails in all cases but are not able to view the one record w/o a subtotal in order mgmt... this is a problem for the customer obviously... Will,
I had originally checked with online mgmt only.. In looking at the database, the orders is in there but with no entry in the Subtotal field and a "0" entered for TotalTaxes... all other fields and table look OK... Evidently order mgmt must check for a valid subtotal... nd teh question remains how did the record get there like that... thx Jim |

Did you check the database file or check your order management?

In two different systems I have used SalesCart Pro, customers have received an order email, complete with billing info, but when we go to the order database, no record(s) of the transaction exists. This is a sporadic issue...
Any reason as to why this is the case. Are these valid orders? or abandoned orders? or? thx Jim |
