I'm running Win 2000 Pro with FrontPage 2000 & SQL 5.02 that I just finished installing. I've got a problem generating my first SQL 5.02 SalesCart. Seems every time I Finish the SQL wizard errors get generated 1 says "error accessing FrontPage web files." it is followed up by "SalesCart SQL5 error, unable to load documents into web.". I find that if I go back & "Add to current web" then "Modify SalesCart Settings only" followed by steping through the wizard I get "SalesCart Wizard Done, Start Adding Products.". Can anyone tell me why this is occuring? I've been trying for a week now to get this far & I finally got it to function but I believe something just is not right with it. I should NOT have to enter the wizard twice to get one entry. Could this have anythging to do with my lack of a PWS?

When you create the web, do you know if your web already has the "images" folder ready? If not, then that might be why. The error will often come up if the FrontPage server extensions are damaged. Also, where exactly on your computer do you install the web? Is it under C:\My Documents\MY Webs?

My web has an Images folder that I keep my webs photo's inside if that is what you mean.
I keep my webs in a different drive under a different subfolder of a folder. Path is D:AAAA\webs\3dolls webs\test web. Yes my pointers have been working ok up till now with this folder. Must I actually use the default of C:\My Docs\MY webs ? Am looking forward to your call Monday. |
