I currently have SalesCart Pro and I think Access is reaching its limit for simultaneous users. Does anyone know or has anyone tried to connect SalesCArt Pro to a MySQL database? Any help is appreciated.

Although MySQL will run on windows, most MySQL support installations are typical of Unix ISP's. On windows, there is SalesCart SQL for MS SQL and SalesCart NET that works with Access or MS SQL, either or/both.

So can I use a MySQL with SalesCart PRO? I know you can connect to MySQL in frontpage....I just didn't know if there was anything keeping me from changing the connection in the global.asa

No you can do it.
Has it ever been done, don't know. Will it work, theoretically it could -- but its an unknown and you'd be on your own there pretty much. |
