We uninstalled salescart pro and restarted the computer then we ran the salescart pro 5.10 without complications. However, the version that is reflected is still 5.04. Thanks for the help.

This is correct. Version 5.10 shows 5.04
I would guess that it was overlooked. |

Each piece of the software has a version/revision #. The wizard, the component, the manual. All of these can have minor version #'s. A change in any one component, may cause a released version # to be extracted. That released version # is can be different than any one "major" component within the software.
On a major revision, all the components are synch'd to a common revision #. What your describing is how ComCity/SalesCart does it...whether it is wrong or right is a matter of opinion. |
