While we continually have problems with this shopping cart, this issue has come up yet again. We have SalesCart Pro using a Windows server and Dreamweaver, and orders aren't being processed.
When a shopper checks out, there is every indication that the billing/shipping info is accept, order confirmed, and the receipt is displayed. BUT NO FINAL ORDER IS CREATED! This is a HUGE problem, and so far we have found no answers as to what is happening. We've also been told that customers are getting "invalid address" errors, and we also see that CA state sales tax is not being applied to local orders. ANYBODY? Please HELP!!! |

Of course.
As I described above, all indications appear normal as someone goes through the process, but no emails are sent, no order appears in the Order Management area, etc. They don't show up on Authorize.net, and all orders that people are placing have no record anywhere. ?!?! |

Still no solution on this.
We are getting the "order to be processed" email from the cart and that is it. Authorize.Net is not seeing any traffic from the shopping cart. The host sees no problems and has checked that port 443 is open and there is no reason anything would be blocked. Yes, we've checked the TP.asa settings for transaction key and the processing link. Why is this shopping cart not communicating with Authorize.Net??? And why is it showing order confirmations as though it has finalized transactions?? |

Make sure TP-TYPE is set to 1 in the TP.ASA file.

Yeah that's all it should take to get the transactions to Authorize.net. The other thing you should do is make sure that you receipt1.asp you have the include for CTP.ASP. Check that.

Well, never mind... we fixed it through trial and error. Started replacing pages, and apparently something had died on confirm2.asp
Very weird since it has been working until recently. |
