Required Fields

Message Topic Search Topic Options Post Reply Create New Topic Printable Version Translate Topic

   I'm surprised to find in the demo (after install) that none of the fields are required in the check-out process...

I can blow right past the name, address email, etc fields - 

Is this by design?

	It is by design The problem was that when we did make the fields required, customers would complain about it because they didn't know how to remove the validation rules. So instead of telling customers what they should validate, we just leave it as-is so you can decide what information you want to require from your customers.
