Well open up your view1.asp file, go to code view or html view and do a search for the word Session("CheckoutSubtotal")....it should be close to the bottom. If you don't have that, go to the userroom and download the latest version...you will need to replace all of the checkout pages though or you could create new issues. Or you could get KB5468 and simply add it to what you got currently and it probably would be ok...about 75% chance since you would be mixing versions. I'll have someone email that to you email address on the forum.

OK, as I mentioned, we show version 5.04, which was installed in its entirety (probably ~1 yr ago). So with what version was this problem corrected and how does one go about installing those updates? This strikes me as a fairly important fix to have on board.

You probably don't really have all the latest SalesCart PRO 5 files installed. The latest files will not allow you to complete an order if any of the contents are changed. You have to start over.

We're getting orders with incorrectly calculated shipping costs. (We do not use the shipping plug-in, just simple total-order, weight-based shipping costs.) This is almost surely due to browser back button activity, but will also happen if a customer deletes an order and starts again ("continue shopping"). I can reproduce the error easily.
Once an order is deleted, or the order sequence broken, the only way to "reset" Sales Cart is to restart the browser. Simply clearing the cache does not help. True for both Internet Explorer and Firefox. I have put in the META tags into View1.asp to prevent caching the order page (KB#5458), but that did not solve the problem. Is the weight info being stored anywhere else, and if so, how can that be cleared? I'm open to any suggestions, since I've run out of things to try. BTW, our SalesCart Pro version is 5.04. |
