The site is running OK in http://localhost, but when I go to the one of product pages and click on add to cart this is what I'm getting:
Could not open data connection. Error: [Microsoft][ODBC Driver Manager] Data source name not found and no default driver specified The Invalid ConnectionString is defined as: |

Re-run the SalesCart PRO installer, during the installation you will have the option of choosing FP 2000, 2002, 2003, Authorize.net or install the local server extensions.

It is very possible. You must first install the SalesCart server extensions though. Once you've done that, open localhost with FrontPage > Tools > Recalculate Hyperlinks. This will enable your SalesCart to work in the http://localhost/ environment.
Type mismatch: 'FormatCurrency' means that the values being submitted are not what the checkpost.asp files is expecting. Did you add the '$' to the price field? |

Is it possible to fully test Sales Cart in http://localhost
As I see right now I’m able to test pages and when I press “Add to Cart” button nothing happens or I’m having some errors. Error Type: Microsoft VBScript runtime (0x800A000D) Type mismatch: 'FormatCurrency' /cgi-bin/checkpost.asp, line 46 Thank you. |
