Hmmm...I just tested out changing the $ sign to pounds on my web site and it worked ok. Did you make sure to hit 'refresh' on your browser a few times to make sure you are seeing the most recent changes?

The error mentioned above has nothing to do wit the LCID value. That error is referring to the data connection that is not able to connect to the SQL server.

hello will i changed the LCID to 1033. When i tried to view the page it will come up with this error
Could not open data connection. Error: [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Login failed for user '(null)'. Reason: Not associated with a trusted SQL Server connection. The Invalid ConnectionString is defined as: DSN=sale; UID=; PWD=; I tried changing it back to 2057 and i still end up with the same results |

I apologize. You're using Dreamweaver so you should be looking at /cgi-bin/salescart.asa
Thanks. |

I can not find the LCID 2057 in the global.asa file this is what the document contains
Copyright (c) 1995-2003 ComCity. All Rights Reserved ' ' File: global.asa ' Revision 5 ' ASP file that controls application and session-wide variables ' ' DO NOT CHANGE- UNLESS YOU REALLY KNOW WHAT YOU'RE DOING! ' Sub Application_OnStart End Sub Sub Application_OnEnd End Sub Sub Session_OnStart '==SalesCart Start== <!--#include file='cgi-bin/SalesCart.asa'--> '==SalesCart End== End Sub Sub Session_OnEnd End Sub I can find it in the salescart.asa though |

Actually it should ready 2057 within your global.asa file. I would advise changing that first.

I am running of your server salescart06.comcity.com which you set up for me. The LCID is 2057 but I don't remember changing it. Should it read 1033?

Also, did you change the LCID code to 2057 instead of 1033?

As a follow up (Again only in Dreamweaver):
Go to the Preferences Menu: Code ReWriting Uncheck "Rename Form Items when Pasting" That keeps DW from renaming form fields when you insert a new product (Sales Cart won't recognize any renamed fields, and won't record your order to any other pages). Not sure if this will fix your Pounds to Dollars problem, but it might. -Clay |

Are you are using the Dreamweaver Plug?
If so, I think there is something you must do in the Preferences pane to keep Dreamweaver from renaming Form fields. Can't remember what it is but a search in the Forums ought to turn up something. -Clay |

Hello,
I was hoping that someone could help me with this problem. When i create a new product link and test it no information is transfered to the view cart page. When i go back and edit the same product link nothing will show up in the wizard box. Also i have set it up to show prices in pounds but it shows up in dollars. any ideas? cheers Jula |
