Right, CDOSYS will allow the HTML tags. In fact in our .NET product we've included this already.

Excellent! I'll give it a try.
Did some more searching and found # 5403. Since you'd be using CDOSYS now, you should be able to send out HTML e-mails. To accomplish this, would I simply cut-n-paste the <html> code from Frontpage to the mail.txt text file to get HTML (after following the procedures in #5403)? If so, this would conclude that I'd be able to create a table structure for the receipt showing purchased items in an easier to read layout. This is great!!! Edited by NJTackle | |

If you're running Windows 2000 SP4 or Windows 2003 server, then you can make SalesCart CDOSYS compatible. Take a look here: http://support.salescart.com/kb/KB-details.asp?key=5316

How can I make it so the shopping cart sends all mail thru the mail server SMTP/mail.domain.com? This way if the recipient e-mail server is down, my mail server can make 2 or 3 other later attempts...increased likelihood of customer getting e-mail instead of a one-shot deal!
 Thanks! | |
