I'm not sure about the taxes though. That's a little more complicated because I can't see your shopping cart settings from here. If you have support left please go to here and fill out a support request.

Okay looking at your drop down boxes I see that the very bottom one is the only one that is named option. The rest of the boxes are named option1, 2, 3, 4, etc. so that's the issue. Are these actual drop down boxes that you created or wrote the code for? I can't tell how this page is setup. Are you using the product management tool that we gave you?

Yes I did select the state sales tax option. The "options" are still called option. No change there.

Did you make sure that when you ran the wizard you specified display taxes for State/Province?
Hmm, do you know if your multi-option include name is still set to option? You can check this by editing global.asa, look for the following line: Session ("TxtMultiName") = "Option" |

I can't seem to get sales tax to calculate on my products. It calculates on shipping. It captures the shipping sales tax only in shop.mdb No product item tax appears on page for the confirm or receipt pages. The items are marked taxable, I have deleted all sales tax entries except for NY State in the data file. The item appears with "taxed" on the view1 page. On the email receipt it lists the tax amount in the item details area but does not add it to the actual order, only shipping tax is added in the order details area.
Next problem. Dynamic options. I have enable dynamic options, and they appear in a drop down menu. The price changes occurs for each of the options (SIZE: 8x10 $47.00 or 5x7 $27.00) but the option description (the size) itself does not appear in the description. It appears that it is trying to cancatenate it because a , appears after the description but no option descriptions appear. |
