How do you make a product inactive so that the customer does not view it or try to order it without deleting it from the database? I am using the product management plug in and there are times that I will need to remove a product from the store because it is out of stock, seasonal or temporarily unavailable and I do not want to delete it from the database as to have to enter all of the information on the product in the future.

How about removing the link to the "buy now" button? Not sure if this would work but I was thinking that no button means no possibility to buy and item.
