Here's a weird glitch i have.

I'm trying hard to skip the shipping and taxes.

I ran the wizard, and it worked, the first time.

Suddenly, it stopped working, and whenever I would go from view1.asp it would take me to the shipping questions.

I checked the global.asa, and it showed the omit shipping and taxes option as checked. =1

so, i reran the wizard again, shows the boxes checked for omit shipping and omit taxes, i finish the wizard, reboot, and still it goes straight to the shipping....

I even tried just building a fresh salescart web on my localhost, and still, it won't skip shipping.

I'm open to any ideas here.. this is weird, i know it should work, but it won't omit shipping or taxes.

Thanks,
Patrick

Did you make sure the form submit URL is not shipping1.asp? You may want to delete the global.asa (or rename it), re-run the wizard and see if it still does the same thing.

If it does, then the problem might be with the checkout pages instead.

I tried deleting both global.asa.
didn't work.
If i change the email or somthing in the wizard, i see the changes in the global.asa, but it still doesn't work.
so, did the wizard so that it will change pages and the global.asa, and it didn't work either.

and then, i tried to just build a whole brand new web on the local host, and it didn't work either.

on another note, while building the salescart web, I noticed that I still had to replace path.asp, and productpage.asp, and checkpost.asp, becasue it puts the bad ones in. I thought this was suppose to be fixed in 3.82, which is what i have installed.

could somthing else be wrong here? maybe a flawed install of the cart?

I'm open to any ideas here... it's driving me crazy :)

thanks for your help so far
