I have been getting customers contacting me telling me that their shopping cart is timing out. I have the server set for sessions to last 600 minutes and I thought perhaps their browser privacy settings were too high but after some tests I am seeming this myself. What other areas should be check?

It is happening at the page after a user views their cart contents and click the "check out" as a new customer button.

If anyone can be so kind to test it up to where a person enters their shipping info and see if they get the same error, I would greatly appreciate it. You can test using this link:

http://www.finerworks.com/test.asp

Thanks

The session will break if you go from www.finerworks.com to finerworks.com

So I started at http://www.finerworks.com/test.asp, added an item to the cart and went to: http://www.finerworks.com/cgi-bin/view1.asp but when I clicked on the "checkout" button it took me to https://finerworks.com/cgi-bin/details1.asp

This is definitely going to break the session since the domain is losing the 'www.'

Yeah. I figured that out myself also yesterday after posting so I made sure that a customer is moved away from the "www" when they add to cart.

Thanks.
