I think it would be a really good idea for peeps to post any solutions to problems that have found so we can all benefit.

For example;

My flat order problem can be sorted by;

In global asa file in main root web;

Set line 167 to False
Set line 165 to True
Set line 169 to True
Set line 171 inside the "" marks to the value you want for the shipping cost.

Then, in CGI-BIN folder edit salescart.asa

set line 69 to True
set line 73 to True
set line 75 to the shipping cost you want

This has fixed my flat rate shipping charge problem- before I think global.asa and salescart.asa were arguging with each other over the rate and whether or not to use percentages with the shipping cost- basically the information is duplicated on two different files- I always though global.asa was the master and all that needed changing- but appears not to be the case.

Other things I do know- dynamic web templates in Frontpage 2003 screw up the cart and checkpout pages but style sheets work fine.

Online order management plug in for frontpage is really best used on servers with Fpage extension support- basically works with lots of included pages which only function correctly with extensions installed.
