It sounds like you ran into the same problem I did... submit a tech support ticket and ask for the updated checkpost.asp file. Copy that in your chi-bin over the other one and the products will be added into your cart. You'll still get security emails about it (unless you disable it at the top of the page "emailErr = 2") but your site will work.

When tring to add an item to the cart I get the following message via email. The cart is empty. I'm using dynamic cart.

The product you are trying to add contains no part number.
Also, how do i get the cart to open in the same window vs new window.
